Inspiration: Freshly Made Sketch #659 + Just Add Ink #725 (Stenciling) + In[k]spire Me #545 (Halloween)
I'm trying to finish off the Bewitched collection from Echo Park and when I saw the Freshly Made sketch, I thought I could line up a few pumpkins to mimic the sketch. Since there was also a stenciling challenge going on, I decided to add details behind the pumpkins using Dune stencil butter and the Theater Night stencil from Finnabair.
I wanted to add a sentiment that was versatile enough to not be limited to Halloween, so I decided on "Hello Pumpkin." I wanted to add Hello using the Inspired alphabet Thickers and I had a feeling I probably had something that said "pumpkin" somewhere in my stash and I found was I was looking for in the first kit I grabbed - Fall Farmhouse from Simple Stories. On the cardstock sticker sheet, there was "our little pumpkin," so I just cut the extra words off and the shade of orange of the sticker was a perfect match to the pumpkins I was using. I used Sparkle & Shine ombré glitter drops from Pinkfresh Studio to finish the card off.
The card panel was mounted on Thick Very Vanilla cardstock and I used a medium Vanilla envelope to finish off the set, adding matching stickers and a few extra glitter drops as well.
The result feels oddly elegant. I'm loving the Dune stencil butter against the black night sky patterned paper.
