Inspiration: Scrapbook.com Cardmaking Techniques Class
I was watching a video tutorial on scrapbook.com and decided to use the scraps from the Snowball Fight collection to try out making an acetate card. I don't like when adhesive is showing, so I did line the back of both pieces of cardstock (on the cover and inside the card) for a neater finish. I wanted to use the adorable drink pattern, so I looked through my dies to see if I had a mug and I found one in the retired Cup & Kettle die set. I used the heart that's usually the steam to decorate the mug and I filled it with whipped cream from another set instead, cut out of Pink Frosting glitter cardstock. I used the spoon die-cut on silver kraft-stock to embellish.
I wrapped white twine around the patterned paper and I embossed a seasonal sentiment in Turquoise Lagoon embossing powder at the top. I made a matching envelope with patterned paper and fussy cut a little cup to decorate the address block
