Sweet Fa La La

Inspiration: Sunday Stamps #300

This is another card inspired by the Joyful collection from Cocoa Vanilla. I wanted to put the bird in the wreath, so I mirrored the sketch in order to have the bird looking towards the center of the card. The center part is one of the pocket cards, matted with Lost Lagoon cardstock and trimmed with the Deckle Trimmer. The vertical strip comes from the Mystical opulent cardstock pack, embossed with the Wintry embossing folder, and topped with Soft Succulent ribbon. I added a tab at the left, decorated with a puffy sticker, and a few gold-foiled chipboard stars.

I was finding that the top of the center card felt a little bare, so I hunted in my stamp collection for a set with music notes and found something of the right size in The Cat's Pajamas Idols stamp set. I stamped the small notes in matching ink colours and it helped fill in the space.
