Inspiration: Graphic45 YouTube video
I tested out the diagonal pocket card technique shown by Graphic45 in one of their recent YouTube videos using Cocoa Vanilla's Joyful collection. I had cut a lot of stars from the patterned paper previously, and I grouped them around the side of the flap, overlapping a candy cane and fa la la la ephemera pieces, then adding the chipboard bird.
The ephemera pack included a small tag, which I topped with a copper eyelet and white trim and slid inside the pocket for decoration. For the message, I created a larger tag out of aqua patterned paper using MFT's Do-It-All Gift Tag dies. I added an heart eyelet and pink ribbon at the top, plus a leftover scalloped piece and one of the wooden buttons. I also added gold ribbon on the edge of the pocket for a bit of shine.
The striped ribbon was repeated on the envelope, along with a fussy cut circle image.
