Inspiration: Color Throwdown #721
I really like the look of the Colorize line by Tim Holtz. Some of the earlier designs were not that easy to assemble, but I've noticed that the designs have been perfected and simplified over the seasons. This bowtied is just beautiful and it is really easy to put together. It's not small, so it needs to be worked either on a larger project or take center stage on a regular card.
I was about to finally put away the Sugar Plum paper collection, but I was curious to test out the bow over this collection's pastel patterns. I initially thought I'd select a more intricate design, but we were losing the details of the bow over it, so I ended up picking the polka dot paper. I also had this Nostalgic Season's Greetings die from Carta Bella that I found on clearance that I thought would look great, as the font and the scale both worked with my design. I used a scrap of green glitter paper to cut it out, and Pink Frosting glitter cardstock for the stars, which I topped with Fine Sparkle Gems.
