Inspiration: October 2022 Card Maps Sketch + Just Us Girls #658 (Make a matching envelope)
I kept going on the Card Maps sketches and the Sugar Plum papers and this time, I pulled out the Seasonal Sketch dies from Tim Holtz, which were perfect to do the poinsettia from the sketch. Since the patterned papers have champagne glitter on them, I used matching glimmer paper to make the outline of the poinsettia. I created a Poppy Parade (tone on tone) layer to go behind it to make the flower fuller.
For the greenery, I used the leaves from the die set, but I also pulled out the Mini Holiday Greens dies to add filling as well. The sentiment came from the Carterie die set and it reads Merry Christmas. I added a scalloped border underneath using the Champagne glimmer paper again. I added a Candy Cane Lane crystal and a grey line around the dotted frame, which really helped make the card feel more complete.
I repeated the poinsettia on an Avocado A2 envelope.
