Inspiration: MFT sketch #618 + CAS Colours & Sketches #494
I don't do a lot of Clean and Simple cards, but when I spotted the Cool Pool rotating stencil on my desk, I realized it would work great with this week's MFT sketch. I stenciled the image in Mint Macaron ink, then I moved the stencil and used Transparent Gloss paste over it.
While the paste was drying, I stamped and colored the images from the Fun in the Sun set with Stampin' Blends markers. I don't have matching dies, so I fussy cut the images and popped them on dimensional foam. At the top, I stamped a sentiment that reads, "Sending lots of hugs" in Pear Pizzazz ink. I auditioned a few gems to possibly add under the sentiment, but it was distracting rather than adding to the design, so I left it as is. This is as simple of a card as I've ever made, but I think the glossy paste really adds a fun element to it.
