Inspiration: Tuesday Morning Sketches #676
My nieces came over for a sleepover a few weeks ago and we crafted together. I stamped my new Oddball images and used Prismacolor pencils to color them in, then I fussy cut the images out. Basing my design on the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge, I used the Collecting Moments papers from Fancy Pants Design (2013) to put this card together. I really wanted the grandma to be included in the family portrait, but no matter how I placed the characters, the card was just too crowded, so I ended up keeping grandpa in and using grandma on the matching envelope.
I pulled a sentiment from the French version of the Places in the Heart stamp set, which reads "May all the love that you gave to me come back to you on your special day." It was stamped in VersaMark on vellum and embossed in navy powder. I added a piece of green narrow ribbon to hide the adhesive.
