Inspiration: Mojo Monday #59 + Simon Says Stamp Monday (Die Cuts)
I wanted to get back to Christmas card making, so I looked through my holiday collections and pulled out Mistletoe Kisses from Simple Stories (2016), an old favorite. I looked through the die-cut pack and decided to pair the Elf quote with the reindeer head die-cut.
I used a 5¼" x 5¼" square card base and I layered a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and green polka dot paper, embossed with the Ruffled 3D embossing folder for added texture.
For the rectangle block on the left, I used the Mini Slimline dies, but the rectangle was too tall, so I ran it through the machine a second time to shorten it and keep the stitching. I punched a piece of striped paper with the Delightful Tag Topper punch, added a hole reinforcer punched out of shimmery aqua cardstock, threaded silver and white baker's twine and tied in a bow, before adding the quote with dimensional adhesive.
To embellish, I added three snowflakes from the die-cut pack and sticker sheet, which I topped with pearls in matching colours. The top of the card was too bare, so I glued a row of red confetti. The envelope was decorated with matching stickers, and the inside of the card with a reindeer image I fussy cut from the cut-apart sheet.
