Inspiration: Floating Gatefold Tutorial from Stamping Bella + Just Add Ink #617 (Gingham + Dots)
As I was working on my Santa Squad card series, I received an email from Stamping Bella showing recent blog posts and in it, there was a very unique card with a kind of fun fold I had never seen before. I was curious and went to check the post out and I decided it was the perfect opportunity to give it a try with the supplies I had out. I love how it turned out. It's so unique and the result is pretty darn cute. The finished card measures 4" x 5½" but it is quite thick, so I do advice you either get a larger envelope or make your own to accommodate for the extra thickness. In hindsight, I regret adding the silver adhesive stars in the corners because I think it will make sliding the belly band on and off more difficult for the person who receives the card.

A fun, fun card, Cindy. I've never seen this fun fold before and love how you've used it with your paper choices and soldier as the focal point. Youve created two awesome cards for our Choose Two challenge. Thanks for playing along with us.
