Inspiration: Mojo Monday #390
If you've been following my blog posts, you've seen me pick a paper collection and make a card series with it, in recent instances for cards to give to the Children's Hospital for the upcoming Holidays. When I do, I try to pick collections that have a cutesy, colorful quality to them, which will hopefully be more pleasing to younger kids. Going through my Christmas collections, I realized I have two full packs of chipboard pieces plus an ephemera icons pack from the Santa Squad collection that are just screaming quick and adorable Christmas cards.
This is the first of the series. I was looking at old Mojo Monday sketches for inspiration and I picked the beetle in the circle ephemera piece to fit with the sketch. I stamped my sentiment directly on the polka dot paper and embossed it with Liquid Platinum embossing powder. The cute pink snowflake comes from ephemera pack as well. I added yellow twine, popped up the image on dimensional adhesive and added snow using Indigo Eclipse Dream Drops. Polished Dots were added to the car's headlights for dimension.
I used the larger ephemera car on the matching red envelope, and added gold faceted gems on the headlights.
