Inspiration: Mojo Monday #402 + Simon Says Stamp Wednesday (Christmas) + Just Add Ink #617 (gingham + die-cuts)
I kept going using my scraps from the Comfort and Joy collection from My Mind's Eye (2016). I had a nice piece of red and black gingham that I used for the background, and I pulled out the Santa's Delivery bundle to go with it. I colored the images with Copic markers and I stamped my sentiment in the wagon's window (it translates to something like "on our way to the Holidays"). I used black foil paper for the track and a piece of ribbon to mimic the two horizontal lines from the sketch.
I had enough gingham paper to make a matching envelope, on which I added a tag in soft green for the address label. This one took surprisingly long to finish, because of the coloring and die-cutting.

I just love how the layered circles form a fab background for the train, and also reflected in the puffs of smoke. Such a fun card and so many lovely details. Thanks for playing along with our Choose Two challenge at Just Add Ink.
