Inspiration: Little Red Wagon #661 (Christmas in July)
This card was inspired by the Tuesday Morning sketch and I kept working with the Holly Days collection from Simple Stories. I inked up the Decorated with Happiness stamp set (currently sold in Stampin' Up!'s Holidays minicatalogue) and used the matching dies to cut the images out. I hesitated on getting this set - I've always liked the two-step doodled images sets, but I've found it hard to use them in the past. Here, the matching dies are what made me reconsider the purchase. I also really like the fun fonts of the sentiments and I'm always looking to add variety to the sentiments I used, so I gave this a try, and so far, I'm liking how easy it is to use the elements found in the bundle.
Because I wanted a long, one-line sentiment, I picked from Brightest Glow, an all-sentiment set. I embossed the words with Wild Wilderness embossing glaze on pink cardstock, which I matted with plaid paper. I added decorative brads on each side.
I die-cut the ornament toppers from silver foil sheets and the little stars from silver glitter paper. I also added a little cut-apart star that was lying on my desk, but fit the papers quite well. On the envelope, I used ornament cardstock stickers with a little sentiment strip to match the card.
