Inspiration: Time Out Challenge #216 (Tropical)
The Tropical challenge was a good opportunity to use my new Artfully Layered bundle. I created my background with the Dictionary background stamp (now retired) and inking through a stencil with a blender brush. I created the border using the mesh pattern and the border from the dies found in the bundle.
The foliage was created using different shades of green cardstock and vellum as well. I stamped the sentiment ("Sending lots of hugs") on a piece of patterned paper, die-cut with a stitched oval die. To embellish, I added a couple of buttons and a few sequins in matching shades.
