That page was an interesting mish-mash of leftover papers and stickers. I got the With Love sticker pack from My Mind's Eye in the Clearance section. I don't own the matching paper, but I love the individual pieces and figured they would be easy enough to pair with other supplies.
To start using them up, I went through my paper scrap drawers and I pulled out papers in matching colours. Since I wanted to make a 12" x 12" page, I also reached for the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper and picked the polka dot pattern for the background. I matted the paper with Melon Mambo cardstock.
The page design was pretty much inspired by the paper scraps I had on hand. I found a leftover piece from a fancy shaped 12 x 12" pink page I had the edge off on another page. I used it for the border and I found this gold mesh ribbon I had previously purchased at Michaels and made a big bow with it, which filled the left side nicely. I added a black button on the point of the paper.
I matted the picture with aqua cardstock and added a piece of black paper behind the left corner to make the picture stand out more. I used the gold photo corner stickers on opposite sides and added a bow sticker in the top corner. I used doilies I had on hand (white from dollar store and black from Doodlebug Design). I let myself go a little crazy with the stickers, using them like I would die-cuts, sticking some of them flat and propping others on Dimensionals.
To create the title, I used the Happy Hearts alphabet stickers from Pinkfresh for the first word. Aren't they pretty? The second word was created with the alphabet stickers found in the With Love sticker pack. I stamped the date on a banner sticker and added a few embellishments to finish the page.
