Inspiration: Just Add Ink #602 (Stenciling + Texture Paste)
I initially picked that colour combo because I wanted to use my new stencil butters. I made a background with a stencil and the Marigold and Fuchsia butters, and while I liked the result on its own, it was really competing with the main images, so I put the colorful card base aside and start again with an all-white card base, which looked way better.
I made my own foliage pattern using the Wander & Find stencil and Granny Apple Green ink. I used a blender brush to entirely cover the white cardstock, then I went over again with the stencil and same ink to make the foliage darker. The sentiment ("Have a nice day") was heat embossed with long-retired Gumball Green Stampin' Emboss powder and I die-cut it out using the Tasteful Labels dies. I again used the blender brushes to color the background.
I stamped the flowers in pink, the peaches in orange and the leaves in green and die-cut the images using the matching dies. I also die-cut the tiny flowers out of Lovely Lipstick foil paper. I went back to the same Storyteller stencil I had originally used for the colored background and used transparent gloss texture paste this time and I love the result. It has that shiny plastic look which adds to the card without distracting from the main panel. That paste from Ranger is a recent acquisition and I think I'm going to love using it on more projects.
To decorate the envelope, I used the peach image I had originally stamped before I realized than in order to use the dies, you have to stamp the leaves and peaches separately as the dies are not made to cut the whole thing, so I had to fussy cut this image. I added more foil paper flowers as well.

This is so pretty Cindy! I love the effect of your stencilled leaves over the green background and the pop of colours with the lemons and flowers. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.
