This card was made after I finished putting together a scrapbook page with the Magical Forest collection. I had die-cut a rainbow five times to get all of the colours I needed, so I basically had four leftover rainbows with all of the cut pieces that were sitting on my desk. I started looking at the patterned paper to see if I could put together a card using some of the scraps from the page and this is what it inspired.
Magical Forest is an interesting Maggie Holmes collection. I love the soft, pretty colours and woodland images, but I feel it's a little tricky to use. I guess this was meant to be a kid's line based on the sentiments that are included in the cut-aparts and stickers (Let's play, Always be brave, Explore), but I'm not finding it easy to put them to use. Thankfully, I just purchased a few individual sheets, plus the puffy stickers and clear stickers, so I don't have oodles of it.
