Inspiration: Mini One 6x6 Sheet Purse Tutorial from Maymay Made It Crafts
I was going through my Watch It Later list on YouTube, trying to see if I had crafting videos that could inspire me to do something different. I almost immediately found an older video showing how to make a mini purse out of a 6" x 6" paper. I was intrigued and knew it would be a quick project, so I grabbed the Teen Spirit paper pad from Echo Park and started crafting. The result is really cute. I would advise using liquid glue for the handles, as I went for mini glue dots and the handles kept twisting, so I think liquid glue would offer a firmer hold.
There's this pattern in the pack that looks like buttons, so I used a circle punch and punched the "Oh yeah" button image out to use as my front fastener for the purse. I added pink gems to the handles and recycled a rolled rose I had left on my desk from a previous project. I had tried incorporating it on projects all week, but it's quite bulky so I avoided adding it to card as I knew this would mean I would require an oversize envelope to accommodate the extra bulk. Here, it didn't matter, so I glued it to the purse and added Stickles to the edges to make it sparkly.
I encourage you to check out this tutorial, this packaging is surprisingly quick to put together, so definitely a good option for mass production.
