Inspiration: Scrap Our Stash February - Sketch
I have been sitting on those pictures for a long time, as they were taken in 2018. I was waiting for the perfect game-themed papers and when I saw the Family Fun collection, I knew they were going to pair well. I was eagerly waiting for this collection to come out last year and even though it got purchased the second it came out, tonight was the first night I actually did anything with it.
I followed the sketch pretty closely. I used the teal polka dot paper as my page base (paper #1). I only had two pictures, so I used a 4" x 4" cut-apart for the third spot (paper #2). I used the plaid paper (#3) for the right vertical block, the pawn paper for the middle block (#4) and the striped paper for the strip on top of the pictures (#5). I used the tag cut-apart paper (#6) to add the tag in the top left corner and I cut the ticket patterned paper (#7) to make the strip at the top of the page. I stamped little dots from a Tim Holtz stamp set over it and used a circle chipboard piece for the circle element from the sketch.
I created my title with black sparkly Thickers and little square stickers from the collection's sticker book. I used stickers from the sticker book and from the cardstock elements to embellish around the page, and I stamped the word "Fun!" from the Family Fun stamp set repeatedly at the bottom of the page. I added one more ticket from the paper strip stapled at the bottom.
My page was getting pretty full and I still didn't have any journaling, so I decided to do a hidden tag. I cut a slit above the plaid paper, slid a cut-apart tag and on the backside, I taped a tab longer than the slit at the bottom of my tag to act as a stopper when I pull the tag out of the page.
