Inspiration: Simon Says Stamp Wednesday (Cold as Ice) + Little Red Wagon #630 - Never Used Before Stuff (both the Peas on Earth and Ready, Set, Snow stamp sets had never been used, so I got a twofer by combining them on this card)
I combined the Peas on Earth set with the Ready, Set, Snow set from Lawn Fawn. I used the Shaker Add-On to make the snow globe 3D, but didn't fill it with any shaker bit, as I felt the scene already had a lot of details and I didn't want to distract from it. I wanted the plaque on the snow globe to be metallic, so I used gold foil sheets with gold embossing powder to make it. I also grabbed one of my gold seasonal seals and incorporated it in the design as well. I had been looking for pure white glitter paper (with no pink, green or orange colours showing when the glitter catches the light) and I finally found what I was looking for at Michaels about a month ago. I used it to make snow banks at the bottom of both embossed panels. The left panel was embossed with Sizzix's Christmas Tree Pattern 3D folder and the right panel was embossed with Stampin' Up!'s wintry 3D folder.
The Bashful Blue background was created with the Stitched Snowflake backdrop die and the Perfect Plaids stamp from Stampers Anonymous, although you can barely tell once all of the other elements have been added over it. The tiny white snowflakes are snowflake glitter from Studio Katia. They have such a nice size (and again, pure white!) and I've been sprinkling them on all of my winter projects lately.
