Inspiration: Little Red Wagon #632 (Do They Know It's Christmas)
I watched my local store's Facebook Live video today and kept myself busy doing some fussy cutting while watching. I had pulled out the Cosy Winter - Sugar and Spice creative pad from P13 and I ended up cutting out a big pile of images, not necessarily having a specific plan on how I would use them. Once I was done, I started playing with the shapes and I ended up with this layered card.
I used Pool Party Core'dinations cardstock for the background (because I thought I would use an embossing folder and sand the surface) with the Wonky Stitched Rectangles Die-namics and I added a piece of Pearlescent Vellum embossed with the Tufted 3D embossing folder in the center of my frame. The rest is pretty much just fussy cut images that I arranged around the card to make something pretty.
The second project that I made with the images I had fussy cut is an ATC. It wasn't necessarily planned that way, I just liked the look of the striped frame overlapping the scrap of pink paper and I started filling the frame with the candy images and I reused an organza bow that had not worked for a previous project and had been left on my desk. I then used Glossy Accents and added Frosted Sparkle glitter to parts of the images. I had initially planned to add this to a card, but the size reminded me of an ATC, so I pulled out my ruler tp check the size and sure enough, it is 2½" x 3½". My local store owner has encouraged her clients to make ATC and trade them in when they go to the store. This is a first for me, I have never made ATCs before in all of my years of crafting and stamping. While the idea of doing a series assembly-style is not appealing to me, the idea of making individual ones with available supplies as a way to give new life to scraps is more enticing.
