Inspiration: The Card Concept #161
I thought that the colour combo from The Card Concept challenge might work well to do a fall card using the Lovely Latte dies from Lawn Fawn's latest release. The release also includes a cute Peppermint Strips Backdrop, but I figured that if I cut it up twice and turned a piece upside down, I might get a nice plaid pattern. A fun way to stretch this background beyond Christmas-themed cards. I also used the Stiched Scallop Rectangles Frames over the top.
I paper pieced the latte cup and then I went looking for sentiment options. I used the Thinking Thanks & Peace stamp set from the current Stampin' Up! holidays minicatalogue. I embossed the "thinking of you" sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock using Peeled Paint Distress embossing glaze and fussy cut the words. I used a leftover piece of vanilla twine from a kit and layered the sentiment over it with Stampin' DImensionals. I picked pearls and sequins in matching colours to fill in the space around my elements.
I repeated the die-cut cup on the envelope and inside the card as well.
