Inspiration: Simon Says Stamp Wednesday (Stamp it!)
From Christmas back to the beach... I had put aside the Hello Summer papers from Simple Stories hoping to use them on a project. I looked through stamps and decided to ink Fun in Sun from Waffle Flower. I stamped a variety of images, colored and die-cut them and then I started going through the papers to see what I would use them with. I spotted this cool 4" x 6" cut-apart that had a picture of a palm tree on it and thought the size might work with the mice. It looked quite cool, so I started arranging my stamped image and a couple of stickers (cloud and pail) to make a little scene.
For the sentiment, I thought the Dymo look of the Label Love French set from Altenew could work nicely, so I picked the Let's Celebrate sentiment. I added the flower and leaf to the side. I hid the English words on the cut-apart ("Paradise Found") with a piece of striped paper and added the thin strip I had cut off the top of the cut-apart, using the backside to make a little division. I added pink patterned paper to mat the cut-apart and mounted this on a Thick Whisper White card base.
There were a few of my colored images I had not used, so I decorated the inside of the card with them. I made a matching envelope with the teal patterned paper, created a block out of yellow paper and layered a few stickers to decorate.
