Inspiration: The Paper Players #555 + Time Out Challenge #193 (Colored Card Base)
I've been playing with the Jingle All the Way collection from Simple Stories all week and I decided to use the cute Christmas trees I had fussy cut from a cut-apart image. I also had leftover die-cut fine frames so I layered a polka dot Snap card, then a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock embossed with the Christmas Tree Pattern 3D embossing folder and a Cherry Cobbler fine frame, varying the angles to get a funky look.
I found a cute sentiment in the chipboard stickers pack that was the perfect width, so I popped it up on dimensional adhesive, and I added a smaller sentiment strip from the sticker book (added to cardstock for stability) at the top, to mirror the sentiment. I slipped a snowflake element sticker underneath and then I added pearls, gems and star to the snowflake and trees to embellish them. I finished the card off with a few enamel dots.
I placed the last two cut trees I had inside the card, and found additional trees on another snap card to use on my envelope. I also added another sentiment sticker from the sticker book.
