Inspiration: Mojo Monday #393
I couldn't resist this Riley and Company stamp, spoofing the Bernie Sanders picture seen around the world! This is a stamp that will have a shelf life as the reference will get obscure over time, but I don't care - it was just too good to pass up! I revisited an old collection from Fancy Pants Designs called Collecting Moments (2013), which is so beautiful. I based my coloring on the collection's colours, using Copic markers.
I wasn't sure which sentiment to use. I found "The Best is Yet to Come" in a photopolymer set, so I was able to curve the sentiment to follow the circular shape. I liked the uneven rectangle shape from the Mojo sketch, which adds interest to an otherwise pretty straightforward design. I added baker's twine and a couple of brads. A navy envelope was decorated to match.
