Inspiration: Card Maps Sketch April 2021
Well, it is that time of the year where the Stampin' Up! retiring list comes up and I have to say goodbye to a bunch of sets, dies and accessories. Today's cards was made with the Pampered Pets stamp set. It's pretty simple but still cute. I love the Disney-vibe this collection has. The grey dog reminds me of the one from the Lady and the Tramp movie.
For the main circle, I used the Mercury Glass Designer Aceetate. I wanted to overlay the scribbly circle from the Painted Labels but with the full center, it was hiding too much of the acetate, so I used a small circle die from the Stitched Shapes dies set to take the center out. Gotta combine dies to get what you need for your project! The French sentiment reads, "Keep up the good work!" This will make a great card to send a downline member. I tied white cotton twine (now retired but I'm trying to go through what I have before repurchasing) and added a bone trinket underneath the bow.
I reused another circle, this time with the center kept in place, on the envelope and die-cut a dog image from the patterned paper to decorate it.
Showcased retiring items:
- Pampered Pets stamp set
- Playful Pets Trinkets
- Playful Pets Designer Series Paper
- Joyeuse excursion (Moving Along) stamp set [for the sentiment]
- Painted Labels Dies
- Stitched Shapes Dies
