Inspiration: CAS Colours & Sketch #408
This card is totally out of season, but the seaweed Christmas tree worked well with the sketch and this cute stamp has unfortunately been sitting on my stash uninked since it was released. (Yikes.) I looked through my seasonal papers and found leftover papers from the Winter Wonder collection from Bella Blvd. that were getting all crinckled at the bottom of the box, so I pulled them out and got working on this card. I made a conscious effort to keep the design streamlined and I do like where I landed. My favorite part is the pink banner, as it was cut out of a leftover scrap on my desk, where I had tested the new Kitsch Flamingo Distress ink and die-cut a circle for another project, but I had enough leftover cardstock inked with pink to cut this banner out. Because it was the edge of the inking, it creates a very nice ombre effect, and the water spritzing I had done also mimicks bubbles, so I love the look.
The larger panel was die-cut with the Confetti Card dies and the smaller rectangle was handcut and I added stitching using the Just Stitching Double Rectangles dies. I added Midas Touch Aqua Shimmer to the star and Glitter Gloss Aqua Shimmer to the bubbles.
