Inspiration: Mojo Monday #552
Happy Ice Cream for Breakfast Day!
This theme was the inspiration of my cards today. I didn't have to look very far, as Stampin' Up! is offering a new suite called Ice Cream Corner in its current minicatalogue. It was a good chance to get it inked up.
I drew inspiration from the Mojo Monday for the layout and made quick work of it using the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper. I die cut the circle out of Pool Party cardstock with the Stitched Shapes dies and I embossed it with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. Don't let the title distract you from all the possibility - this folder gives the cardstock a texture that is very similar to ice cream!
For the sentiment, I picked "You're so cool" and stamped it in Cinnamon Cider ink on Bumblebee cardstock. I love how those two colours look paired together. I repeated the same colour combo to create the ice cream cones, and used Terracotta Tile and Blackberry Bliss ink for the ice cream. I used liquid glue to add the sprinkles on the cones.
