I decided the next paper collection I wanted to play with was Mistletoe Kisses from Simple Stories (already a few years old). I discovered I had a die-cut pack to go with it, so I pulled the images out to see what was in it, and the three trees caught my eye. I based the design around a November 2017 Card Maps sketch and quickly put together this sweet card. When cutting the middle band, I made sure to size it so that we would see the word Noel and to place the threes so that the word could still be seen.
The pearl dangle was already on my desk, from trying out my jewelry tools, so I hung it from the silver cord bow. I added three Crystal Stars above the threes and stamped my sentiment in red ink on a white banner die-cut. The sequin is actually something upcycled from clothes I bought years ago, and the sequin comes from the little pack that was given to repair the garment (not even sure what the piece of clothing was). It also contained beads, which you will see use on my "Not A Creature Was Stirring" card. I will often find inspiration from random elements left on my desk, so I don't always clean everything away, as it sometimes make for unexpected inspiration.
A matching envelope was decorated with a sticker from the paper collection kit.
