This page was made using the adorable Quarantined collection from Simple Stories. I paired it with the Letterboard Alphabet from Tim Holtz that I recently scored on Clearance at a really good price. I love those Bigz alphabet and the fact that they cut through chipboard, but the original pricing was quite hefty. I've been building my collection when I found some of them on sale over the years and I like the variety that I now have on hand. The key is an upcycled element that used to be a necklace. The necklace tarnished over time, but the key still looked good enough to reuse on a project. There are a lot of random elements on this page. I tested out a new Impresslits die on a new glitter paper and it was lying on my desk. The color was matching nicely with the papers, so I worked it into the design. Same thing with the fountain pen die-cut - this die was included with the Planner Essentials hole reinforcer set. I've left it on my desk and I was inspired to use it here to decorate. The chipboard buttons had been pulled out for another design on which I hadn't used them, and I also worked them into my design. The gold flakes were in my last preorder from Stampin' Up! and on my desk, so I got the idea to create two gold borders on my house patterned paper. The bead dangle was also something that was lying on my desk. In summary, this layout was pretty much the result of desk cleaning! The result is pretty cute considering the mishmash of elements I used on it.
