This new stamp from Stampendous couldn't be more à propos. It summarizes what most people are wishing for this year for the upcoming holidays. I was wager to see how it looked colored, so I stamped the image in VersaMark ink on watercolor paper, embossed it in gold powder and I used my Faber-Castell watercolor pencils to color it up. I didn't have a specific color scheme when I started, I just went where inspiration took me and after I was done, I thought it might look nice with the gorgeous Christmas Plaid paper from Memorybox. The stamp will pretty much fill an entire card front, so I went larger with my card to be able to add paper behind: 4-3/4" x 6". Which meant in turn that I had to use a 12" x 12" piece of cardstock and my envelope punch board to make a matching envelope. I used the Put a Bow on It dies to add a bow on one side of the image, which I matted in gold foiled paper. I added a Sugar Art Pebble in the center of the bow and a few pearls around the card to embellish. The design is farily simple. The image is so busy, there was not much that could be done to embellish further.
