Inspiration: Card Maps July 2019 Sketch
I was still playing with the Jingle All the Way collection from Simple Stories and this time, I pulled out the Bits & Pieces to draw inspiration from. I picked the poinsettia cluster and layered it over one of the cut-aparts that also has poinsettias on them. I punched different patterns with my hexagon punch ans arranged all my pieces on the card. The stamped sentiment reads, "May this period overflow with happiness." I added a curly ribbon bow, a Perennial essence floral center to the poinsettia (got those on clearance and had not used them yet) and enamel dots from the old Home for Christmas collection. I also included a snowflake puffy sticker and a rhinestone border. I recently stopped by the dollar store to purchase stickers and fun stuff to include in my nieces' Advent calendars and I found those rhinestone borders. I thought they were individual stickers but I discovered they're border when I opened the pack. Fun way to jazz up projects.
The Bits and PIeces included a second poinsettia die-cut, which I added to a metallic Aquamarine envelope to match, and I repeated the punched hexagons and flower centers as well.
I'm well on my way to being finished with my 50 Christmas cards - I think this one makes 45. You know what I'll be doing all weekend...
