I had just finished my previous card and I was playing with remaining pieces and I ended up with this card. I recycled a few ideas from the previous projects I made today: coloring details on the gold-foiled paper with ink and a blending pen, sponging ink over the gold foil on the leaf, and the layered poinsettia.
The paper scrap I was left with had the sleigh on it and I realized when I cut it down to size that it was 4 inches large, which was perfect to layer over the card front, so I added the Brushed Metallic cardstock I had already been working with before, and embossed my two pieces with the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder. The result looks pretty neat. I used the Old Olive ribbon I had been working with before as well to add finishing between the panels, a gold faceted gem to the middle of my poinsettia and gold gliter enamel dots around. The ruffle behind the poinsettia was also made with a leftover piece of Plush Poinsettia paper. For a card made out of leftovers, that turned out pretty good.
