This card was created with leftover pieces from my last layout. I wanted to do a strip of the bear doing various activities, so a long narrow card lent itself to it. My card measurs 8½" x 4". I played around quite a bit with various pieces and discarded a few options before I found something that I liked. I initially wanted the "Let's explore" sentiment to be the main one, but I couldn't make it work, so I finally found "Those are the moments that my us smile when we think back on them" in a stamp set and knew it would work perfectly and fill the size more nicely. I meant to emboss it in navy powder, but pourred my deep green powder on my stamped image by mistake. There is moss green in the color scheme, so I decided to just go with it. I reworked a smaller version of the first sentiment in my little series of elements instead.
I used one of my washi tape stamps from Doodlebug on the tag and looked for a postmark in my stamps. The first one I found said With Love February 14 in a Valentine set. Not exactly what I was looking for, but I stamped off my ink before adding the image to the card to make if less obvious and now those details don't really stand out.
I made a matching envelope using the Envelope Punch Board and inexpensive cardstock in matching blue.
