I'm still working on my Halloween packages and these were inspired by a super simple tutorial found on YouTube. I punched the ends of my handle strip using the Banners Pick a Punch from Stampin' Up! (I have been using this one a ton since it came out) and it was a great way to quickly get the ends as little arrows. I added orange and purple pearls (from Studio Katia - so in love with those gorgeous embellishments!) to the ends and I used the Fab-BOO-lous Friends stamp set from My Favorite Things to add little images on each sides, matted with a scalloped circle punched out of Lime LIght pearlescent cardstock from Tonic. The patterned paper is from Halloween Town, which I've used previously to make my Halloween mini-album. I used my Glitter Gloss Aqua Shimmer brush to add shimmer to each of the ghosts so that they would glow.
Tip: Learn from my mistake. If you use Aqua Shimmer on your project, make sure to let it dry thoroughly before you add tape to your die to keep them in place over your images when you run them through your die-cut machine. My low-tack tape, which I never have any trouble with, ripped up parts of three of my images, the which ghost being the worst off as he is the one I made the most shimmery. Lesson learned - moisture and tape don't mix well!
