Inspiration: MFT Sketch #497 + Festive Friday #63 (Pink + Green + Embossing) + Little Red Wagon #557
Confinement had already started when I purchased the Market Stand set from Avery Elle. It contains different words that you can stamp on the stand sign, to make it what you want: Tiki bar, Advice, Lemonade, Farmer's Market, Free Hugs and Kissing Booth. I kept thinking that it would be cute and a little cheeky to use the little "open" sign from the set, cross the word off and handwrite "closed" underneath. I've also purchased a few sheets from the Summer Market collection from Carta Bella, which pairs with the stamp set beautifully. I based my Copic coloring on the paper colours.
For the sentiment, I wasn't sure what to use so I started looking through my stamps and one of the first things I saw was "Le temps d'une pause," which loosely translate to "Taking the time for a short brake." Seemed to go well with my closed hugs stand. I used Emerald Envy glitter embossing powder to match the green in the papers. I added dry embossed stitching underneath to try and fill in the space a bit, and a piece of white pompom trim for texture. I used a little flower sticker from the same collection and added clear confetti and gems to add sparkle.
