Inspiration: Try Stampin' on Tuesday #438
I need to crank out a few cards for my downline members before the end of the year, so I decided to make two of the same design, keeping things simple. I used the Greatest Part of Christmas hostess set I recently acquired and die-cut it with the Stitched Shapes dies. I used the beautiful Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper for the background and tied a piece of Garden Green double-stitched ribbon around. I was going through my dies trying to figure out what the rounded piece from the sketch could be on my card and when I spotted the Flourish dies, I decided the flourish would look nice. I also purchased the Toile Tidings glitter enamel dots on my latest order, so I added a few red ones to the flourish to mimick berries.
To decorate the interior of the card and the envelope, I fussy cut some images from the toile design and glued them in place. Those are simple, but I am happy with the elegant result achieved.
