Inspiration: MFT Sketch $468 + Lawn Fawnatics #67
This card was inspired by a background which was created with water colored with Nuvo Shimmer Powder leftover on my work surface. I picked up a piece of white watercolor paper to sponge the color and ended up with a background that I really loved. It should be mentioned that because I mopped up some colored water instead of shaking the pigment from the bottle to the paper, there are some spots that are shimmery but most of the background is just plain color. This technique turned out more like a watercolored background, whereas when you shake the pigments right out of the bottle, the glimmer is really intense.
(This was made with the Storm Cloud shimmer powder.) I embossed the background with the Winter Snowflakes 3D folder from Sizzix and I decided to use the cups from the Thanks a Latte stamp set. Textured embossing powder was added on the first cup for the foam, and I sprinkled Snowflake Sequins on my background to fill the space a bit. I finished off my card set with a Sapphire Metallic envelope stamped to match.
