Inspiration: Try Stampin' on Tuesday #429
I'm having fun coming back to the adorable On to Adventure stamp set. I figured the traveling couple would look great paired with the Mosaic Mood papers, since they have a bit of a tropical vibe to some of the patterns. I cut two rectangles using the Stitched Rectangle dies and I snipped the corners on the green leaf rectangle to add to the other one. I tied brown twine around each corner for a bit of texture.
On Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the couple in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and used Stampin' Blends markers to color them. The top of the panel was a little bit too empty, so I picked the cloud stencil from the Pattern Party set and sponged some Mint Macaron clouds using a sponge dauber.
I wanted my sentiment to be on a travel tag. I looked at options from other stamp set, as On to Adventure hasn't been translated to French, and I found one that says "Mariage is a Journey," which I stamped in Terracotta Tile on Crumb Cake cardstock. I added a hole reinforcer punched out of patterned paper and I inked the edges with Crumb Cake ink to give the tag more dimension. I also inked the edges of a So Saffron panel, embossed with the Hammered Metal embossing folder, which I slid under my main image for a bit of layering. At the last minute, I decided to embellish the tag with In Color Faceted Dots.
