Bye Bye Louise

Inspiration: Lasting Memory Challenge #465 (Buttons + Tags + Polka Dots + Alphabet Stickers) + Page Maps May 2019

I was in the mood to scrapbook today, so I pulled out some pretty papers from My Mind's Eye and a picture taken a few years ago when our colleague Louise left for another job. We had dinner together to mark the event and we all had a very nice evening.

To mimick the square frame on the sketch, I poked holes along the border of the patterned paper and used white baker's twine to add sttiching. For the floral border, I stamped flourishes from the Curly Q set from Bo Bunny and added a punched flower and Prima flowers, with buttons around it.

The first tag (Happy Days) is the name of the collection and it was created with the cut-away section of the patterned paper. The second tag (the title one) was die-cut out of Blue Obsidian Mirror Card  and I used some Cobalt Blue Glitter Card to die-cut my title, using the Deco Alphabet from Tim Holtz. (This is the second Tim Holtz alphabet Bigz I was able to score on sale and that I was happy to get my hands on since it had been on my wish list.) The cute little pink letters are from Pink Fresh.
