Inspiration: Simon Says Stamp Monday (Let's Get Ready for Christmas)
This card was inspired by the Mom Shaped Shaker Kit from Queen & Co. I think the mixer is my favorite image of the kit, there's something really cute about it. Because the Happy Holly Days papers caught my eye, I decided to make it a holidays card. I looked through my stamps and found something that says "candy and gingerbread - enjoy the season and its sweet treats" (sounds weird translated, but it rimes in French). I paper pieced the mixer so that the mixing part was made of silver foil paper.I added a red twinkle star on the mixer (which was a thank you gift I received with my Queen & Co order - pretty cool!).
I filled the bowl with sparkling clear confetti. The sentiment was embossed in red sparkly embossing powder on vellum and die-cut a scalloped oval, but I felt the text was hard to read over the busy paper, so I added a smaller oval underneath made of diagonal stripe paper. I reused the dies to decorate a matching Avocado envelope.
