Inspiration: ColourQ #365
This project was entirely inspired by the new Lawn Fawn products. I paired Spooky Village (a favorite from the new stuff - love those cute houses!) and the Foursquare Backdrop Portrait die. While it was initially going to be a card, as I started die-cutting the elements, I realized this would be more useful to me as a treat pocket. If I keep making one here and there whenever I create, I am going to have enough to go around at the office.
The frame was die-cut out of Knit Picky Fall paper and I inked the outer edges in black ink. I die-cut the four squares out of white Bristol, which I inked in Dusty Concord and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. I splattered watered down Liquid Stardust over the four panels. I colored the various images with Copic markers, die-cut them and started arranging them on the four panels. I couldn't fit the Halloween patch anywhere comfortably, so I moved it to the bottom of the panel instead. I stamped Happy Halloween on orange cardstock and embossed the words in Crushed Curry embossing powder, then die-cut the words with a Sentiment Labels die. I glued the sentiment panel at an angle using Dimensionals and added two purple glitter enamel dots on each side.
I matted the panel with a piece of Concord Crush cardstock (with edges inked in black) and glued it to the front of a chevron-patterned kraft envelope. I folded the top, punched two holes with a Crop-a-Dile and threaded black lace to finish off the bag.
