Inspiration: Color combo from shirt seen online (see picture below) + Simon Says Stamp (Birthday)
This is another image from my Holidays coloring session. The colors came from an Abercrombie & Fitch shirt I had seen online. I found the combo soft and unique and knew it would translate nicely to a paper project. I paired Night of Navy, Sweet Sugarplum, Soft Sky and Hello Honey to recreate the look. The design was kept pretty simple - I just framed my colored image with a Wonky Scalloped Frame from Avery Elle. (I love the Wonky Frames dies so much, I bought them in all three shapes - squares, rectangles and circles. I'm really excited to start using them on projects.)
As with my other Zodiac girls, I die-cut the French equivalent for Libra using my Alisha Lowercase Alphabet dies, and added a dab of Glitter Gloss Aqua Shimmer to the letters. The scales were watercolored with gold paint from the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors set. To add a little something more to the card, I handdrew a dot border using a Night of Navy marker, and added a bit of ribbon to the patterned paper. The card still seems a little bare to me (maybe I could have done a color wash in the background behind her?) but based on my experience with the Aries card recently, I found it best to leave well enough alone.
