Inspiration: Tuesday Morning Sketch #504
This adorable pick-up truck is an image from the Flower Girl stamp set from Doodlebug Design. I had pulled out this set about a week ago and I had made a mental note to come back to the pick-up image and pair it with the Flower Market paper collection, as it also has an aqua truck amongst the images. The sentiment reads, "See You Later."
The bottom panel is Galvanized Metallic Paper that was embossed with the Honeycomb folder and distressed with two colors of Distress Crayons to make the raised surfaces show up better. I found some big aqua rickrack, which I stapled in place with a mini stapler. I used Baked Texture embossing powder in Patina Oxide for the sentiment, which gives a nice turquoise with hints of copper in it, and I repeated the copper embossing on the matching aqua envelopeé I used a Distress crayon around the rim of the circle die-cuts as well. The pick-up image was colored with Copic markers and I added Silver Distress Crayon on the hubcaps.
