Inspiration: Simon Says Stamp Wednesday (Have a Heart) + The Paper Players #426
The sketch inspired a very clear idea of which elements I wanted to pair to create a Valentine card. I colored my little Oddball girl on kraft cardstock and she was looking good, but when I die-cut her, I felt the coloring looked a little bland on top of the other elements. That's where I started struggling with the card, trying out other elements, pondering whether not to use the girl at all... In the end, I kept going on the design and finished it off as intended. This is one where I need to sleep on it and see how I feel about it tomorrow. Right now, I'm not just feeling the love for this one.

I know exactly how you feel. I think this card is lovely. I love the red roses in the background against the pink and I love the big sparkly heart. You color the girl beautifully too. I think it’s a darling card. Thanks for joining us for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. I hope you’ll join us again soon.

I love it Cindy! I think the image looks great on top of the other elements and I really like all of the details you added, too. Thanks so much for joining us this week over at The Paper Players!
