Inspiration: Global Design Project #170
I had already used the Global Project Design sketch on another card, but when I looked at a closer image of the sketch, I realized it had some nice elements that I hadn't included in my former version and that I could use the sketch again to make something different. As I was looking at stamps, I decided to pull out Hand Delivered and give the sketch a go again.
The main image was colored with Stampin' Blends markers, in colors inspired by the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper. The sentiment "Congratulations" was stamped around the image three times, and I created a negative-heart stripe, using a die from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. I turned three of the hearts around and used the backside of the patterned paper to fill the hearts back in, and added Wink of Stella on them (as well as on the cake's frosting).
A matching envelope was made out of the same paper, and I used one of the die-cuts from the paper for the address block. For someone who's not usually into flowery and pink stuff, I must admit I am really liking what I've made with the Petal Promenade papers so far.
