Inspiration: Global Design Project #170 + SUO challenge #213
I wasn't sure how this card would turn out when I started shuffling supplies around, but I think the result is pretty cool. The beauty of this card is in the copper foil accents and the gorgeous shine it has in person. I started by embossing the Merry Merlot patterned paper (from the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper pack) with the swirl and little stars from the Star of Light stamp set. I used the same stars with Tranquil Tide ink of matching cardstock to stamp a row, mimicking the sketch. I dried the ink with my heat tool before adding my sentiment in VersaMark and embossing it with Copper powder. The same stars were also stamped on Copper foil paper and die-cut so that I could pop them up on Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. The big intricate star was die-cut out of Copper foil paper as well and layered over Sahara Sand cardstock. I then looked for little embellishments to finish off the card and added pink Share What You Love Artisan Pearls and Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins. I stamped a matching envelope as well using the same stamp set.
