Inspiration: Freshly Made Sketch #363
I had this idea of doing a long sentiment and adding two elves on each side, and the Freshly Made sketch was perfect for that. Initially, I was planning on using the elves from the Signs of Santa stamp set, but then I found two elves in the printed cardstock shapes from Pebbles' Cozy & Bright. Since I also have the matching paper, this made for an easy creation.
Coincidentally, I had pulled out the Two Feet Deep stamp set from Papertrey Ink, which I hadn't used in a while and was hoping to ink before Christmas, and I noticed it does contain a couple of big, bold sentiments. The one that reads "Let it snow and scatter bits of holiday magic everywhere" seemed perfect, so I embossed it in white on one of the red patterned papers. I then added my two elves and added little styrofoam balls in the hand of the left one and on the ground beside him. (Those styrofoam balls are meant to be added to slime. Not sure how popular this idea is, but to me, they looked they the perfect size to add tiny snowballs to cards or to make shaker cards with.)
