Inspiration: Color Throwdown #509 + CAS(E) This Sketch #288
Fall is here, even though it hasn't felt like it lately with the heat wave we're still experiencing. That being said, the days are getting shorter and the fact that it's getting dark early is reminding me that summer days are over. I'm trying to get myself in the right mindsight and use my fall stamps before we get into heavily into the Holidays stuff. The CAS(E) sketch seemed perfect to use my big detailed leaf die.
I used the Copper Stampin' Emboss powder for the sentiment, which I love, but I have to say, the Copper foil paper is so shiny, the embossing powder looks very dull side by side to it. The card base was embossed with my beloved Tin Tile 3D embossing folder, and I dry-brushed some equally beloved Copper glimmer paint on it. You've seen me use this technique on a few recent projects and I honestly want to do it on every project because it looks so good!
