Today, I wanted to play with retiring items from the annual catalogue, so I pulled out the Naturally Electic Designer Series Paper and the Remarkable You stamp set. Based on the Tuesday Morning Sketch #453, I came up with this layout. The word at the bottom of the flowers is "Hope" in French. The flowers were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Shimmery White cardstock and watercolored with inks. I also used two dies from the Eclectic Layers Thinlits dies: I die-cut leaves out of patterned paper, and I used the big piece with an embossing mat to emboss the design instead of cutting it. I like how it turned out, I think it really adds to the final card.
